Natalia Livingston Staying Put At 'general Hospital'
By Groshan Fabiola
Before last month ended, General actress Natalia Livingston denied rumors about her being fired from ABC's popular daytime drama. In fact, she said that she has recently re-signed with the show, signaling her renewal for more appearances on the series as Emily Quartermaine.

"[General Hospital] and I started contract negotiations several months ago... Both wanting to work something out. We have finally come to a deal where both sides are happy," Livingston stated. "With that said, I am, have been, and will always be incredibly grateful to GH for giving me such a wonderful job. I love and treasure every day on the show."

The said rumors about her dispatch started when a fan club president wrote an email to Livingston's fans, stating that the actress' contract has ended and further negotiations have been done, however General hasn't given her any good offers, thus the actress would like to venture into other opportunities.

These rumors proliferated in the internet and even more talk was ignited when a popular soap opera magazine's cover said something of Livingston's dispatch from General Hospital.

Natalia Livingston said that these statements about her departure from the show were not only inaccurate, but fraudulent as well. "I have no doubt that my fans, friends and family at GH will easily distinguish between fact and fiction, reject sensationalist headlines, Internet blogsites, and know that if a statement didn't sounds like something I would say I simply did not say it," the 31 year old actress added.

Livingston first became part of General in 2003, playing the role of Emily Quartermaine, which was first portrayed by Amber Tamlyn of Joan of Arcadia in 1995. In 2005, Livingston received her first Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress for her performance on ABC’s drama series, General Hospital.
